They impart to us such gifts as He sees best and to use us according to His wise and loving Size: 1MB. The Holy Spirit is a Gift of God the Father and God the Son. There are two important points in this section. The first is that the Spirit is a gift, given freely. All that is necessary is for us to allow him in. The second point is that he is the gift of both God the Father and God the Son.

This book leads you in meditating on and journaling about several hundred verses that discuss the Holy Spirit. You will grow in intimacy with the indwelling Holy Spirit, and the anointing within you will increase!   What does the Holy Spirit do? According to the doctrines of the Christian faith, the Holy Spirit is one of the three persons of the Trinity, along with God the Father and God the divine works of the Holy described in both the Old and New Testaments. This Bible study will explore in brief the ministry and works of the Holy Spirit.

The fact that the vast majority of the references to the Holy Spirit in the book of Acts are found in the first half of the book has raised a question mark after the contention that the concept of the Holy Spirit determines the structure of Acts. There are eleven chapters in Acts that contain no reference to the Spirit. The distinction coincides with the Holy Spirit as either a temporary or permanent gift. In the Old Testament and Jewish thought, it is primarily temporary with a specific situation or task in mind, whereas in the Christian concept the gift resides in man permanently.
